She is not qualified, and I question her ability to function as steward of the county’s fiscal responsibilities. She claims a 48 percent county revenue drop (recession data) when in reality, gas and oil production value alone has shown a 39.6 percent increase, according to a letter from Craig Larson (Herald, Sept. 26). She claims to have knocked on more than 6,000 doors and listened to residents’ concerns. This would be logistically impossible if she is gainfully employed as stated on her profile. I find her statements and those of her supporters to be duplicitous and misleading, hardly worthy of a candidate for county treasurer. Honesty matters. Experience matters. Integrity matters. Trust matters. Vote Bobby Lieb for La Plata County treasurer.
