That’s right, our well-funded local congressman chose to buy his way onto the ballot instead of trying to earn votes from Republican delegates. Why did Tipton, who previously spent eight years as chairman in the 3rd Congressional District overseeing this important delegate process, decide to blow off his own party’s delegates?
It wasn’t because of a global pandemic; he filed his petition form with the Colorado secretary of state back in January.
The reality is that Tipton ran as far away as he could from Republican delegates because they are the most involved, most informed and most difficult for him to lie to about his consistent record of voting alongside Nancy Pelosi.
