At what point will former San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick be forgiven for taking a knee to protest police killings of unarmed Black men and women? When will NFL commissioner Roger Goodell step up to the national microphones, including Fox, and tell the NFL owners and the venom-drooling fans that Kaepernick was right all along? He has been called unpatriotic and worse. His life has been threatened. Yet he continues the fight, with respect and dignity to all, to end racism in America.

I suggest Broncos executive John Elway lead the way with Kaepernick’s message to end racism and police violence against unarmed African Americans. This madness must end. It is long overdue.
