I thought of the contributions of J. Paul and his family. I thought about the lamb brought to market together with the wool. I’ve known J. Paul and his wife, Debbie, for about 30 years. I knew J. Paul’s dad, Casey, and know his mother, Jean. I slightly knew J. Paul’s grandad, Jake, and I know of the real-world economic contributions made by this fine family.
By way of contrast, I’ve also known Michael McLachlan for about 35 years. Michael is a lawyer. What is it that lawyers contribute? They contribute and produce nothing. They contribute nothing to quality of life. They only suck off of the miseries being suffered by other people.
Michael McLachlan went to the Legislature and faithfully toed the party line. He voted for more gun control, despite his promises that he would not. He voted for increased renewable-energy standards, which do absolutely nothing for us but sure do cost us a lot money.
Please, give us back J. Paul Brown.
