Across from this is another triangle of weeds and trash.

After placing the very nice “Welcome to Durango” sign on the east side and a nice park-like area, this is a sad, sad contrast. What must visitors think when they first see the trashy, weed-covered west entrance?

Shame on you, Durango, and your city council and roads and bridges Department. Can’t even cut a weed?

Monies spent on all the advertising to attract tourists seems to melt away when they first approach Durango at this trashy intersection.

The cemetery has a beautiful bull elk to greet people. Why not place one at this triangle and plant some shrubs in both triangles that say more about our beautiful Durango?
