The program will cover up to 50 percent of the actual cost of treatment materials for weeds identified on Colorado’s noxious weeds lists A and B.
To receive the cost-share reimbursement, applicants must work with Weed Control Office to confirm the presence of targeted weeds, craft a treatment plan and monitor treatment in subsequent years.
The maximum reimbursement available is $600 per private landowner, $1,000 per homeowners’ association and $1,200 for per ditch company. The program will reimburse only for materials purchased between March 1 and Nov. 15, 2017.
