Meininger has been a leader in the Planning Department since 2008 and holds a land-use planning and economic development degree from the University of Arizona. At the department, Meininger has updated the comprehensive plan, led a team to make improvements to the land-use code, reduced permit-processing times and helped property owners develop land and start businesses.
In his new position, Meininger oversees 10 members of the Planning Department.
