As a past member and former president of the 9-R board, I believe I have a good understanding of what it takes to be a productive member of that team. I am convinced that Kim Martin not only has the educational background and general qualifications to be a successful school board member but she also has a good understanding of our community and the diverse interests of La Plata County residents, which is critical in setting appropriate school policy.
