Islam is not a simple religion like “I believe in Jesus” or “I believe in Buddha,” but is instead a belief system that incorporates a set of civil laws called Sharia. Since Sharia law and the Quran itself are considered as dictated word directly from Allah, Sharia law is considered a religious duty, although more so in some countries than in others.

In the Middle East, Sharia law is dominant, so Muslims that make up the current flow of migrants bring with them not only a belief in Allah, but also a belief in Sharia law. The unfortunate part about Sharia law is that it directs Muslims to do bad things to Jews, Christians and Hindus. The Quran names those three religions specifically.

So the Muslims come with a built in negative view of Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism and are taught to discriminate harshly against people in those religions. The bizarre part is where the leftists think that apprehension about a religion that discriminates against other religions and does bad things to people in the West is somehow discrimination itself.

Perhaps if our leftist media objectively reported about Sharia law this misunderstanding would be seen for what it is. As it is, most people on the left are totally unaware that Islam is the greatest discriminator of all, so calls of “racism” and “religious discrimination” completely miss the actual facts.
