With nearly 400,000 annual passengers and an estimated annual economic impact of approximately $160 million in La Plata County alone, the airport serves as the regional airport for Southwest Colorado and the Four Corners region.
Vicari will present overview of recent history, daily operations, finances, and future plans for the airport.
Vicari graduated from Wester Michigan University with a degree in aviation science and administration, entered airport operations in Lansing, Michigan, accepted a position in 2014 as airport operations manager at Durango-La Plata County Airport, and was appointed interim director last June.
