A free public event with music, poetry and information about the movement will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mancos United Methodist Church, 470 West Grand Ave., in Mancos.
The group includes the families of Araceli Velasquez, who is in sanctuary at Park Hill United Methodist Church and Temple Micah in Denver; Rosa Sabido, who is in sanctuary at Mancos United Methodist Church; and supporters of Elmer Peña, who is in sanctuary at All Souls Unitarian-Universalist Church in Colorado Springs, and Ingrid Encalada Latorre in Fort Collins.
