Every time Durangoans drive, our movements are recorded by Durango’s 21 “Flock” cameras. Durango shares record access with 603 law enforcement agencies nationwide; 60 of these agencies have “287(g)” partnerships with ICE. While this allows LEAs to enforce laws, it also enables ICE to search our community for migrant people. Those of us who love freedom must show up and speak out.

The city’s Flock contract is up for renewal – our chance to end this invasion of our security and privacy. If you value freedom, please sign the Change.org petition at https://tinyurl.com/2uj9mttw and email [email protected] to urge nonrenewal and to add this issue to the next agenda. Then show up at the City Council meetings on Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
