The class is at the Ross Aragon Community Center at 451 Hot Springs Blvd. There is no charge for this course and it will be open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter education card.
Classroom activities will occur on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The test and live fire range activities will also take place on Saturday March 26. Rifles and ammunition for the live fire will be provided. No personal firearms are allowed.
Students must attend all sessions. Hunter education cards will be awarded to students upon successful completion of this course on March 26.
This course is sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Police Department in conjunction with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife with support from the local chapter of the Friends of the NRA.
