Mike knows how to work across the aisle. He understands the need to build solutions through compromise. Mike is bright, well-educated and exercises good, critical-thinking skills as our representative. J. Paul voted no to others’ ideas; Mike takes the initiative to propose solutions to problems. J. Paul is a hypocrite; he defends the entitlement programs in government that subsidize his sheep operation out one side of his mouth, while condemning big government out the other side of his mouth.

Mike is an informed, independent thinker, determined and courageous enough to stand up for what we need. J. Paul is a puppet for the Republican tea party. J. Paul is all hat, no cattle. Mike has a good grasp of the substantive issues. J. Paul seems to believe that he looks the part of a legislator; Mike believes it takes hard work and understanding to serve our needs well.
