Candidates will be considered based on work ethic, interest in pursuing a career in building construction or design and a willingness to learn.
Application requirements include a cover sheet with contact information, a letter describing future plans, desired school and interest in construction. Applicants should submit a transcript showing a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, letters of recommendation from two teachers or employers, and a photographed portfolio of two individual projects.
Recipients will be chosen by a committee consisting of the association and relevant school-district representatives.
