After the ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m., there will be old-fashioned games for children and refreshments reflecting the Great Depression era until 3 p.m. A special exhibit of 1930s toys will be on display for this occasion.

The house joins the Joy Cabin as a feature of the museum and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday throughout the summer.
