Dylan Brent Sanchez, who was serving two years for trespassing in a dwelling, received a pass on Dec. 16 to see a mental-health therapist but didn’t return.

Neither Hilltop or jail officials could say immediately how Sanchez was detained, only that he was in jail Monday.
