Ambassadors and military have died with no investigation, IRS targets people based on politics, NSA spies on its own people, millions are losing their health-care coverage (We were promised we could keep our own), Christians are being slaughtered throughout the world by countries controlled by Islam and Iran is less than a month away from making a nuclear weapon. The world is laughing at us, and you are worried about plastic bags.

Everything reverts to politics, and I cannot stand any of it. Common sense and government will never make any sense anymore. By all means, keep spending more than we take in. Politicians keep lining their pockets with greed and corruption. Keep giving to those who do nothing because eventually it will collapse.

I started working at the age of 8 and learned the value of hard work. At 17, I was kicked out of the house to fend for myself, and I am very grateful to this day for that. I thank my parents because everything I have today, I have earned on my own. I joined the military and learned skills that will let me survive long past many of the zombies sucking up to Washington.

This letter is not a right-wing conspiracy issue. It is an opinion from one old war horse who studied history in college. This country was founded on something special, and all people – Democrat, Republican and Independent – were given certain rights and power. Why are you just giving it away? We may see World War III or civil war sooner than you think, so keep worrying about those plastic bags!
