A new headstone will be placed at her unmarked gravesite in Greenmount Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Huber of First United Methodist Church will give a brief historical memorial program on the 101st anniversary of her death at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Loisa Bass Memorial Fund raised the money for the headstone thanks to the generosity of the community and the leadership of the La Plata County Historical Society.
