For those who do not have time to volunteer, another option is to donate blood. United Blood Services will have its Bloodmobile parked on Main Avenue, next to the Irish Embassy, 900 Main Ave., from noon to 3 p.m.
United Way of Southwest Colorado is a nonprofit that provides residents with opportunities to give, advocate and volunteer to help make the community a better place for all residents.
