Bob was transported by ambulance from San Carlos to a great hospital in Hermosillo, Mexico, where he underwent emergency surgery. Bob has since been airlifted to Banner Hospital in Tucson, the closest Level 1 trauma center. Soon, he will be transported to a rehabilitation hospital in the Phoenix area, where he will begin an arduous journey to try to recover from this terrible injury.

Of course, his family and friends have heard about this. His family is asking all his good friends to support him by calling and visiting and with donations to help cover his medical and living expenses. Bob is not asking this, but we felt it was important to reach out to the community for assistance.

Bob has always been there for his family and friends, and has a kind and generous heart. Bob is hanging in there and is being very brave. His step-daughter Crystal Sauer Copeland has started a “GoFundMe” account to raise money for Bob, he will be going through a long rehab, and any donations would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to thank my sister Candye for staying by B ob’s side in the Mexican hospital and my niece Crystal for setting up the account for Bob. Please consider donating what you can, 100 percent of the donations will go directly to Bob.

To donate go to “GoFundMe.com,” then type in Bob Larson.
