Furthermore, as I volunteered at the aid station at mile 85, I witnessed Schlarb stand up first after eating to let Jornet know that he was going to leave because he was getting cold and would just walk until Jornet caught up. It looked like they were really enjoying running together through the mountains and sharing the experience along with pacer Paul Hamilton.
