Local advocates have expressed concerns about GCC embracing the highly controversial issue, but once again, the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Alliance – industry puppets – argue that “In this country, people profit off the most immoral things every day.”
These groups have repeatedly shown their disregard for the health and safety of rural La Plata County families living in the wake of the coal trucks, so why not help build an immoral wall with the local coal too.
