Jessie Shelanie with Frazier Shows blows up balloons on Thursday at the Balloon Store at the Durango Fiesta Days carnival at La Plata County Fairgrounds. Shelanie says she blows up 2,000 balloons on a slow night. The most she thinks she’s blown up in one night is 8,000. All workers at the carnival have been vaccinated and will wear masks.
