Durango Police Department Cmdrs. Casey Malone, left, and Ray Shupe raise the video cameras on the department’s mobile camera trailer on Thursday at Buckley Park. The department has had the trailer for the past year and places it at different locations in the city. Most recently, it was used during the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally at Buckley Park. A member of Four Corners Alliance for Diversity who saw the trailer thought it would be a good idea to use it during the Pride parade, festival and dance on Saturday at the park. The department also sees the camera trailer as a crime deterrent. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald)
