Southwest Flight 100 was headed from Las Vegas to Milwaukee when the pilot reported the issue, authorities said. The flight was rerouted to Denver International and taxied to gate C27.
The Denver Fire Department responded to the gate, where they were in the process of evaluating passengers late Friday. They requested five ambulances.
One person was transported to a hospital because of a fall, according to the fire department.
Southwest released a statement saying the flight landed safely at 8:30 p.m. There were six crew members and 175 passengers on board.
The airline also says the Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be taken out of service and inspected. Another aircraft will be used to continue the flight to Milwaukee.
