She finishes, “ … (who) refuses to live by man’s and God’s laws cannot expect to receive protection or acceptance in this country.” With that sentence, she has lapsed from written opinion to veiled threat – not atypical behavior when zealots do not get their way. I want to correct her: Every citizen of this country, whether they agree with McCoy or not, deserves “protection” by society. You do not get to choose who is a citizen worthy of respect and protection and who is not.
