Surprisingly, while spurning Tipton, the Herald endorses candidates for governor (Stapleton) and state Senate (Coram) who operate from the same beliefs as Tipton. All three disregard science, which demands solutions to our increasing heat and drought. All three offer only photo-op solutions to a run-amok health insurance industry that leaves millions of Coloradans risking bankruptcy or severe illness. All three wax poetic about education but have done nothing about our state school system starved of basic materials, and the fast-approaching 3,000-teacher shortage.
Bush, Jared Polis (for governor) and Guinn Unger (for Colorado Senate) are squarely facing reality with a stated commitment to serve the needs of families, not big donors. They all have concrete, parallel ideas about how to handle these three crises.
Do your own research, and vote for the change we all need. Bush, Polis and Unger get my vote.
