At the U-14 level, Brynley Feistner, Wiley Robinson, Nora Scheid, and Zaria Smith each finished among the top 45 in the division—spanning Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska—at the Feb. 21–22 qualifiers at Powderhorn, earning a week of racing in Vail from March 9–13.
The championships opened with Super-G training on March 9, followed by racing on March 10. Feistner led the team with a 35th-place finish among nearly 100 competitors.
March 11 featured two giant slalom races. In the first, Scheid posted an impressive 21st-place finish, with Smith in 31st. In the second GS, all three girls earned top-30 results: Smith (19th), Feistner (23rd), and Scheid (26th).
In the morning slalom race on March 12, Smith led the girls with a strong 16th-place finish, while Feistner did not finish. In the afternoon, Smith placed 23rd, while Robinson closed out his championships with a 36th-place result.
Racing concluded on March 13 with dual slalom, featuring head-to-head matchups between the Rocky Mountain and Central divisions. After two combined runs, Smith finished 29th.
Overall, the week was a success for the team, with Smith recording four top-30 finishes across six races, earning qualification to the Rocky Mountain Division U14 Spring SkillsQuest Camp at Copper Mountain (March 30–April 2), where she trained alongside the division’s top athletes.
