The award recognizes the partnership that Durango Transit coordinated with Southern Colorado Community Action Agency’s Road Runner Transit in April 2018. The partnership lessens the impact of the elimination of Durango Transit’s Mercy Route as a part of recent service reductions, allowing passengers to use their Durango Transit passes to ride Road Runner Transit to Mercy Regional Medical Center at no additional cost.
