The summer season closed for much of the Durango Swim Club at the 2014 Colorado Western Slope Long Course Championships on July 18-20 in Grand Junction.
Fifteen swimmers qualified for the meet, and six scored points by finishing in the top eight.
Haley Benjamin (14) won the 100-meter freestyle, 200-meter butterfly, 200-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle and 400-meter individual medley.
Brooke Kniffin (18) won the 100-meter backstroke and finished third in the 300-meter backstroke and fifth in the 50-meter freestyle.
Angela McManus (10) won the 200-meter freestyle, finished second in the 50-meter breaststroke and 100-meter freestyle, took third in the 50-meter freestyle and fourth in the 100-meter backstroke.
Quinn Schmidt (11) was second in the 1,500-meter freestyle and 12th in the 400-meter freestyle.
Iain McCourt (14) took fourth in the 1,500-meter freestyle, seventh in the 400-meter freestyle and eighth in the 200-meter freestyle.
Anne Mummery (15) took sixth in the 50-meter freestyle, 100-meter freestyle and 200-meter backstroke. She was seventh in the 100-meter backstroke.
Mina Willemin (12) took eighth in the 50-meter butterfly.
The DSC also entered four relay events.
Benjamin, Steevie Delio, Kniffin and Mummery took second place in the open division 400-meter freestyle relay and fourth in the 400-meter medley relay. Jessica Bowman, Ruth Holcomb, McManus and Rebecca Schmidt finished seventh in the 12-and-under 200-meter freestyle relay.
Bowman, McManus, Schmidt and Willemin were seventh in the 200-meter medley relay.
