Ignacio High School needed a victory in its regular-season finale to avoid its worst season since 2004.
Dolores (4-5, 2-3 Southern Peaks League) shut out Ignacio (1-8, 0-4 SPL) 13-0 on Friday night at IHS to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Bobcats’ lone victory this season came against John Mall on Sept. 26 in Walsenburg, a 26-19 win.
The loss served as the final high school game for IHS seniors Adison Jones, Alex Lopez, Blaine Mickey and Mike Perez.
