The event will include a series of exercises and reflection designed to raise awareness and promote understanding and cultural growth in the community, including a discussion about current events and nonviolent communication.

The event is open to ages 12 and older. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to La Plata Family Centers Coalition.

Lunch will be included for those who register before Feb. 10. Registration will also be held at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 17 in the ballroom.
