As citizens, we invested significant time in the process that has brought us to this point.

Working together required a willingness to be open to varied perspectives, attentive to environmental impact, strategic in our planning and fiscally astute. I extend a special nod to county Commissioner Bobby Lieb for providing the leadership required to guide the process; his work is an example of public service at its finest, the ability to bring together a diverse group of people to work together for the common good. Water, as we all know, is a valuable commodity. Having access to city water is a privilege for which I am especially grateful.
