Wow, I had finally met a candidate that listened, a real person who sincerely cared what I thought.

Diane is a cut above, especially compared to her opponent. Over 90 percent of Diane’s campaign donations are under $200, compared to her opponent, Rep. Scott Tipton, whose donations of $200 amount to less than 4 percent of his nearly $1 million war chest. Diane’s average donation is $26. Tipton’s donors, who generally give the $5,000 maximum allowed, are commercial banks, investment firms, weapons manufacturers, oil and gas companies and, of course, the Koch Brothers. Diane has pledged to not accept corporate or oil and gas PAC donations.

To satisfy his corporate donors, Tipton has repeatedly voted to move our public lands to state control, so that large portions can be sold, as soon as possible, to extraction industries. Diane has promised to “keep public lands in public hands.”

If you believe that Tipton represents you and your family, I encourage you to go online and look at his list of donors and his shameful voting record for the last eight years. Then, like me, you will give your vote to Dianne Mitsch Bush for the U.S. House of Representatives.
