Too many signs actually has the opposite of the desired effect of directing our fine citizens. One has the tendency to tune out all the clutter.
Recently, I counted the number of traffic-related signs between Wildcat Canyon and the DoubleTree intersection. On one side of the road headed east, there were over 200 signs in the two-mile stretch. Enough already!
