The course will cover requirements, business specifics and current expectations for the sale of backyard eggs and food items produced in home kitchens, including food safety, safe-food handling, cross-contamination and contact with food allergens, temperature control for safe-food preparation, storage, transport, sales, ingredient labels and disclaimers.
Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate for display.
Course fees are $30 per person. Registration deadline is 5 p.m. April 5.
