Interactive activities provided by discover HEALTH/Descubre la Salud include a “wavy tactile path” from Weplay and backpacks that contain a hat, bottled water, sunglasses and an empty first-aid kit to play with. An English/Spanish guide to healthful food will be available, and a craft will be provided.
The storytime ties in with the library’s traveling exhibit and is sponsored by the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Science Technology Activities and Resources for Libraries. The library partnered with Southwest Colorado Area Health Education Center to present this exhibit to the public.
A self-guided tour is available through June.
