Associated Press file<br><br>An event to promote drug-overdose awareness in the community will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 23 in Iris Park, 1235 Camino del Rio.

Agencies will share information with attendees in the park. A walk on the Animas River Trail to remember those who have been lost to overdose and addiction will follow.

The event is free and open to all.
