The event will feature a combined honor/color guard, the national anthem sung by Tayler Smith, ecumenical invocations, musical performances and remarks by local and state officials.
Family and first responders who want to honor the fallen are invited to come to the park’s Remembrance Booth, where they can leave photos or written expressions as remembrances.
The $8 park entry fee will be waived for first responders, military veterans, active-duty military personnel and reserve members with proper identification.
After the ceremony, first responders and their families are invited to a free barbecue, musical performances, family games and interagency competitions.
