Six chuck wagons from around Colorado will compete to provide meals in the tradition of the late 1800s. People may wagon chefs prepare meals in cast iron cookware over an open fire. An authentic dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
Advance tickets are available for $20 at Basin Co-Op, 26103 Highway 160. Money raised at the cook-off contribute toward local scholarships.
