I look back upon the past in which I was taught humility, honor and respect for all of those around me, and to treat others with dignity, as I hope to be treated the same one day.

I put my life on the line many times in combat to watch those closest to me never return; sacrifices that many that lead this country will never understand and take for granted.

During those 20-plus years I served, my vote was never counted. I always received a letter from my state legislator saying the ballot arrived too late to be counted. I am sorry it was so inconvenient for me to mail it from a combat zone in the middle of nowhere, but if it was counted, I would have felt better about the system.

I no longer trust either party or any politician anymore because they all lie to get what they want and the heck with the people. Term limits will stop those such as McCain, Reed, Mitchell, Schumer, Pelosi, Boehner and others, all of whom should have been thrown out for not listening long ago.

I will now support a convention of the states to amend the Constitution of the United States in support of term limits on everyone, including supreme court judges, a tax code that is fair to everyone and that everyone has to pay without loopholes, and rewriting the commerce clause that will let the states get back their power and not supersede them with regulations that are not in their best interest.

I hope others will get onboard. It is the only way for “we the people” to have a say in anything. If not, we are all going to be in a civil war here shortly because of all the hate that many of the politicians and the media are spreading.

We are tearing each other apart because many have lost their morals and core values of this great country.
