Jennifer Scholfield receives certification
Financial adviser Jennifer Scholfield has become a Certified Wealth Strategist.
The designation, administered by Cannon Financial Institute, recognizes professionals who demonstrate mastery of the issues surrounding wealth advising to comprehensively address clients’ wealth-management needs.
To obtain this certification Scholfield completed four days of classroom training; months of directed study including textbooks and study guides, e-learning video lessons and technical tests; and completion of a final capstone project. The designation is awarded upon the successful completion of the entire program and receiving a passing score on the capstone project.

Grace academy to host fundraiser March 8
Grace Preparatory Academy will present Sam Kelly and the Durango Jazz “WinterPalooza: Swingin’” from 4 to 7 p.m. March 8 at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
The evening will feature live jazz and swing music, dance lessons, a silent auction, dinner and desserts.
