The first forum I attended when McLachlan was a candidate, he proudly stood up and declared “I’m a Vietnam veteran, and I will support your Second Amendment rights.” He then went on to vote yes on every bill that came before him to suppress and restrict our Second Amendment rights.
When questioned about this, instead of giving a good reason, he said he stands by his vote. As far as I’m concerned, he can stand and fall by his vote. How can you support any person who would say one thing and then do the opposite? How can you trust that person on any issue? I can’t, and I won’t.
My vote will go to J. Paul Brown – a man I trust will stand by the things he says or tell me why not!
