The permits will be sold through Dec. 24 and cost $5. Maps may be obtained when purchasing the permits at the Farmington Field Office, 6251 College Blvd.
When transporting a tree taken from BLM public land, the permit must be attached to the tree. Only piñon and juniper trees are available for harvest as Christmas trees on BLM lands.
