Plvan has more than 30 years of experience in business management and as an entrepreneur, and spent close to a decade working with national marketing firms, where he was responsible for several Fortune 500 programs, including Time Inc. publications, the K-12 marketing division at Apple and VISA fundraising initiatives for the United States Olympic Committee.
Additionally, he is a mentor for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, has sponsored a World Vision Youth in Ecuador and taught Sunday school.
