Money raised during the bell ringing season helps La Plata County residents. The distribution of funds is managed through the Community Emergency Assistance Coalition and United Way. Donations are distributed to clients in collaboration with The Boys & Girls Club, La Plata Youth Services, La Plata County Jail, Manna soup kitchen, the Southwest Safehouse, Hilltop House, the Denture Program and the Voucher Program.
