Teachers from Bayfield Middle School last week received the Crystal Apple award from the Horace Mann insurance company. Principal Karen Lunceford said the award is for the teachers' teamwork in providing services and a positive learning environment for a special needs student, both in mainstream classes and her special needs classes. Receiving the award are, from left, Jessica Robbins, Tara Morey, Liz Glaysher, Michelle Wennerstrom, Harriet Brown and Mark Pommier
