“These monies will be used for print and AV materials that support educational or early childhood-related purposes,” said Library Director Shelley Walchak. “We are grateful to the Colorado State Library for pursuing funding for these worthwhile causes.”

The State Grants to Libraries was funded by the Colorado Legislature to help increase access to early literacy and educational materials. This non-competitive program administered by the Colorado State Library funded a combined total of 315 public libraries, academic libraries, and school districts this 2015- 2016 fiscal year.
