Pine River Public Library hosted its first annual STEAM Fair on Saturday, celebrating all things in science, technology, engineering, arts and music.
Library staff and volunteers estimate more than 325 people attended the festival. Activities ranged from drumming to chemistry to physics, as well as some junior firefighters being able to douse a fire.
The library has movie nights and more activities on tap in August, and its second annual Zucchini Festival on Sunday, Sept. 11.
